Copper Creek's Sweet Louise

Wheezer's AKC registered name is Copper Creek's Sweet Louise and she is just that!. She lives with her Mom and Dad, Barb and Pete Kitchener and her brother Kelsey, in a beautiful coastal town in southern Massachusetts. Barb writes ... Pete and I wanted to be sure to keep her name as "Wheezer" since Carol Vola had selected the name from the character from the Steel Magnolia movie. The character Wheezer, played by Shirley Mclaine, was a survivor and a fighter and Wheezer certainly is a testament to that. We are truly blessed to have her, especially after her difficult start in life. As many folks may know, Wheezer's front right paw looked like a catcher's mitt when she was born, after getting caught in the birth canal. Carol's TLC (bathing her paw in cabbage leaves) made us know what a true angel Carol was, taking the time to tend to this little pup. She has developed into a beautiful girl who we adore. Wheezer loves her older brother, Kelsey (a 6 year old male vizsla from the Cinnabar line). They play tag, tug of war and most of all Wheezer loves to have her brother lick her face and lovingly chew her ears. She is an avid bug chaser, bird & squirrel watcher and hunter and she plays the best game of catch - bar none - she'll even toss the ball back to you after catching it!! Wheezer loves to eat, her favorites include fruits and veggies along with her regular diet of course :-) Both Kelsey and Wheezer love to run along the beach and then return home to being spoiled couch potatoes - they are the BEST kids a Mom and Dad could ask for......
